Since you are limited to only 3 campgrounds in this area, you don't have much choice. If you do make reservations here, make sure you don't get site C3. The cable was terrible, so snowy we could hardly see the picture. The wi-fi is also very iffy. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. We paid $3/extra for 50 amp, but could only run 1 ac and our volt meter still showed we were operating in the red, due to low voltage. They said it was because the city wouldn't improve the electrical wiring here. I would be very hesitant to stay here again. Gravel sites, and very dirty.

We stayed here one night on our way home. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 was due to the Wi-Fi not being very good. I could get on and get my emails, but could not bring up any pages on websites. It was also very slow. We were parked right across from the clubhouse, which had an antenna on it, so should have received very good signal. The park is lovely and when the trees get bigger, you will have some shade. Right now, you're right out in the hot sun, so need to use an awning, but there's so much wind in Amarillo, you're afraid to put it out! For the money, it's fabulous and right now, they have free laundry, which is unheard of in a RV park.

This KOA had been recommended to us, and it was very nice. The owners were super friendly and very accommodating. The pool was nice and well kept and the Wi-Fi worked great. The cable TV was also great. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

We love the location, but the sites are not shady, they sit right out in the open. They are very busy though, as they are close to RMNP and Estes Park. Their wifi leaves something to be desired. We were right across the road from the bathroom where the antenna was located, and still had trouble getting connected. The pool is nice as well as the lodge. Think they take advantage though by charging $4/nite extra for over two people in the rv, and extra for 50 amp service. This is getting to be more common and I don't think it's right. You pay for a site with water, sewer and electricity. Most motels don't charge extra for your kids.

Very small campground with few amenities. Only good for overnight stays. Pool was a joke, kind of like the one in the movie "Vacation." Their wifi worked very well though for such a small park. We have stayed there twice on our way to Colorado and the price was with Passport America.

Park was located conveniently next to I-35, but had no shade at all. Kind of out on the bald prairie so to speak! Did have good wi-fi, but could not get our satellite dish tuned in at all when we first got there. Came back later that night and was able to get it. This was unusual as there was nothing to block the signal at all! It's O.K. for an overnight stay.

We loved the location and it is a nice park, but we don't like it that they make C2C members stay in the less desirable sites. The first few times we stayed there, we were allowed to stay in the nicer sites, then they started making us go to the farther sites that are hard to get our large rig in to. And the wifi leaves a lot to be desired for a pay wifi. You constantly have trouble getting on and staying on. You'd think they would come up with a better system.

We made reservations in Mar. 04 due to our being there during part of the bike rally. We paid $30/nite before the rally, then 38 after it started. We reserved two sites, one for our 33' 5th wheel, and one for our son's 26' toy hauler. We had to trade sites with him because ours was so unlevel. And, the sites are very close together. However, it is very shady, and very well located to all the tourist attractions. Coast-to-Coast rates it a 5* resort, but I don't feel it's that good. Not bad, though.
